WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S ENGLAND – A Nation Comes of Age

7 Nights | Expert Guided Journey London, Warwick, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon

SHakespeare’s england Guided Tour

This vacation is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in a brilliant drama of English history, where we visit some of the kingdom’s most famous sites and celebrated places.

This expert heritage guided tour takes you to the heart of the action – where England is shaking off the remnants of a medieval world, is forging its own Renaissance, fighting off invasions, and emerging as a player in Europe’s global Age of Discovery. This real-life history reads like an epic adventure – with Kings and Queens, intrigues and executions, big-time winners and losers. At the centre of this we find William Shakespeare, playwright, poet, producer and performer, a man from the English provinces working hard to make his way in London – the modern global city in the making.

Dinner, bed and breakfast is included throughout your tour. Your first 3 nights will be spent at the Tower Hotel, ideally placed besides the River Thames, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. As we journey into the English Midlands, 4 further nights are spent at the Arden House Hotel in the heart of Shakespeare’s home town of Stratford upon Avon.
